These RACIST RANTS AT THE LOS ANGELES CITY COUNCIL MEETING were covered by many of the mainstream media organizations. During the public comment section, Norman Herman who is a Hispanic male continued with another of his aggressive, insulting, and racist rants to the city council. As he has done many times for years, he used the word “Nigger” twice during his tirade.
The speaker after him used a puppet for his comments. Just like Norman Herman he mocked the City Council using a puppet that characterized a Black American youth. He used the word “Nigga” several times during his presentation.
The mainstream network TV news stations have not published any videos of these racist rants! There have been no comments about these two individuals on Network TV news or radio talk shows that cover the City Council meetings. The City Council allowed this type of language by these two individuals. They have allowed this to go on for years at these meetings.
This was the meeting the day after Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascón published information about the criminal charges against Councilmember Curren Price. Price was charged for having a financial interest in projects that he voted on and having the city pay for medical benefits for his now wife while he was still married to another woman.
There was no big turnout by the public at this meeting. Curren Price did not come to this meeting and there were no demonstrations by the public calling for his resignation. It seems that people are getting used to seeing City Councilmembers getting removed from office for criminal charges.
These are very dark times in Los Angeles, California! There seems to be no end to the corruption and mismanagement by the local government in this lost city!
