We have the right to vote but we do not have the power of the vote! 

 By March 31, 2023, The recall against Kevin De Leon has failed. They said it was because of the rain. I contacted one of the organizers to propose another method of signature gathering when they first started. It would entail my plan for a better voting system. My system will give more transparency and produce a more reliable and valid election. My plan was to conduct a signature gathering at a stadium and have speakers, music groups, and concessions.

     At first, the organizer said that it would be too expensive to bring an election process to a stadium even if we book music groups to perform. She also stated that the city clerk could not be there for the signature-gathering phase by law.

     I said that I would volunteer to go to the city council and request that they try to change the rules for this recall. She agreed to this but never got back to me. I did not get a chance to present my proposal to the city council. She stated also that she was involved with the failed recall of the LA DA George Gascon.

     I believe that this recall was set up to fail. The citizens of Los Angeles need to organize and force our corrupt local government to provide a transparent and corruption-free voting system. We have the right to vote but we do not have the power of the vote!
